Privacy Policy

At a glance. ChopBerry is intended for people aged 16 or older. Photos, videos, and instructions leave the device when you ask us to create or edit media. We do not sell personal information for money. This Policy explains account, creative, advertising, purchase, retention, and deletion practices. The controller is TKC Hospitality Group LLC, whose registered address is 230 Pisgah Pike, Versailles, 40383-9200, United States.

1. Scope and controller

The rules below cover ChopBerry for Android, app.chopberry.com, and the channels through which we provide customer care, privacy help, safety reporting, and billing assistance. We call these offerings the “Service.” Responsibility for this processing belongs to TKC Hospitality Group LLC, at 230 Pisgah Pike, Versailles, 40383-9200, United States.

Some companies act independently rather than only on ChopBerry’s instructions. Google Play, a chosen identity service, or an advertising company can therefore apply its own notice to its own activity. Read those notices alongside this one.

2. Information we handle

Device permissions

Permissions are requested when needed for an action you choose. Media access lets you select an input or save a result; an available camera flow can capture a new photo; and notifications can communicate task, purchase, security, or account events. You can later withdraw a permission in Android settings, but the related feature may stop working. Selecting one item through a system picker does not grant access to the rest of a library.

3. Why we use information

We process information to create and secure accounts; authenticate users; perform requested photo, portrait, style, and short-video tasks; return and, when enabled, save results; manage credits, subscriptions, and purchases; confirm rewarded-ad completion; analyze reliability and campaigns; diagnose crashes; prevent fraud and abuse; provide support; send essential operational notices; enforce our rules; and comply with legal obligations.

Where law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the Service, compliance with law, or consent for optional activity. Withdrawing consent affects future processing and does not undo processing that was lawful when performed.

4. Creative content and AI processing

When you request an edit, portrait, visual style, or short video, the selected media and accompanying instructions are transmitted from your device to ChopBerry-controlled systems and contracted cloud, AI generation, rendering, storage, and safety providers. They are used to perform, secure, troubleshoot, and support the task. A private input or result is not posted to a public community merely because you created it.

Source media is cleared from ChopBerry’s active task-processing systems after the requested task completes. A generated result can remain in account history so that you can retrieve it. If you delete one result through an available control, ChopBerry-controlled active copies are ordinarily cleared within 24 hours. A generation provider may retain its own copy under its separate retention and deletion rules. Private creative content is not used to train an unrelated general-purpose model.

A portrait feature can locate facial position and geometry to place an effect. ChopBerry does not use that operation to establish identity, authenticate a person, or create a face-recognition database. Do not submit identity documents, health information, financial records, or other sensitive material that the requested edit does not require. You must have the rights and permissions needed for every person and work you submit.

5. Service providers and other disclosure

We provide a recipient only the information reasonably needed for its role. Current service categories include Google Play for distribution and billing; Google or Facebook when you select their login option; Adapty for subscriptions, entitlements, and transaction status; analytics and attribution services such as Adjust, ThinkingData, and Facebook services; advertising services including Adseye and, where included in the shipping build, Google AdMob or TopOn; and contracted providers for hosting, storage, AI generation, rendering, content safety, crash reporting, email, support, and security.

Information can also be provided in response to enforceable legal demands; to prevent or examine fraud, misuse, or a threat to a person; or as part of a legitimate financing, reorganization, acquisition, merger, or asset transaction. Any successor assumes the applicable protection duties and must issue legally required notices.

6. Advertising, analytics, and website storage

ChopBerry contains advertising and may offer a reward for completing an optional ad view. Advertising partners may use an advertising identifier, IP address, IP-derived general area, device characteristics, impression, click, conversion, reward, and fraud-prevention events to select, deliver, measure, and protect an ad. Private photos, videos, and prompts are not used to select advertisements. If you skip an optional rewarded placement, the associated reward is not issued.

We do not exchange personal information for money. If a law defines an advertising disclosure as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising, request an opt-out by emailing support@chopberry.com. Android also offers controls for its advertising identifier. The public website currently uses no non-essential advertising or analytics cookies; essential browser storage may be used for security or presentation.

7. Retention

• Source photos and videos are removed from ChopBerry-controlled active task processing after the requested task completes. Copies held by a generation provider follow that provider’s policy.
• Generated results stay in account history until you delete them or close the account. Individual results removed through an available control are ordinarily cleared from ChopBerry-controlled active storage within 24 hours.
• After ChopBerry accepts a closure request, covered account and service records normally leave our live systems within one day, apart from the items expressly identified below.
• Payment-order records are retained for compliance and audit and currently have no fixed deletion schedule.
• Server logs that may contain a user identifier expire according to the configured schedule of the applicable logging system.
• Closing ChopBerry does not presently erase or anonymize Adapty’s subscription profile, entitlement, or transaction history. Adapty applies its separate storage rules.
• We retain a help request or safety case for the time reasonably needed to investigate it, record the outcome, and meet security or legal duties.

Protected backups can preserve information until the normal backup cycle replaces it. Minimal records may be retained or restricted when needed for tax, compliance, dispute, fraud-prevention, safety, or other legal duties.

8. Your choices, rights, and deletion

Rights vary by jurisdiction. They can include seeing or correcting data, asking us to erase it, obtaining a portable copy, limiting or opposing a use, withdrawing permission for future activity, leaving qualifying targeted advertising or data sharing, and asking us to reconsider a denied request. Before responding, we can check the requester’s identity and authority.

Use the permanent-close control within ChopBerry to remove the account and covered data. When the app is unavailable, write to support@chopberry.com and use “ChopBerry Account Deletion Request” as the subject. The background process starts after acceptance and normally finishes inside 24 hours; a temporary error triggers automatic retry. The action cannot be undone, and simply uninstalling ChopBerry does not start it.

The present workflow removes authentication access, profile details, credit totals and entries, membership data, task and creation history, feedback, payment events, temporary caches, and generated media in storage controlled by ChopBerry. It leaves audit/compliance payment orders, logs pending scheduled expiry, Adapty subscription and transaction records, and provider-held generation copies. At present, closing ChopBerry does not cause an erasure or anonymization instruction to be sent to Adapty.

Deleting ChopBerry’s authentication account does not automatically revoke a previous Google sign-in authorization. You can remove that authorization through Google Account settings. Account deletion also does not cancel a Google Play subscription; manage or cancel it separately in Google Play.

9. Children and age requirement

ChopBerry is designed only for users who are at least 16. We do not intentionally obtain data from younger children. Someone who is 16 or 17 must be capable of entering this agreement under local rules and must involve a parent or legal guardian whenever local law requires approval for the Service or a purchase. Tell us if you think an underage person supplied data so we can investigate and take appropriate removal steps.

10. International transfers

Processing can occur in the United States or in another place where ChopBerry’s vendors maintain operations. The receiving country’s privacy rules may not match those at home. When cross-border rules apply, the controller relies on an approved contract, an adequacy finding, valid permission, or a different recognized legal safeguard.

11. Security

Protection measures include encryption while data travels, limited access, operational logs, vendor assessment, and internal administrative controls. Internet services always retain some risk. Protect your sign-in details and tell Support quickly about suspected misuse. If an incident creates a notification obligation, affected people and regulators will be informed as the law requires.

12. Regional notices

United States

Depending on state law, residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of information; limit certain sensitive-data use; opt out of qualifying targeted advertising, sale, sharing, or profiling; and appeal a denied request. ChopBerry does not sell information for money or knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

Residents can, where applicable, obtain a copy of their data, fix inaccuracies, seek erasure, limit a use, oppose processing, move data to another provider, or withdraw permission for later activity. A complaint may be made to the responsible data-protection regulator. You can also ask how we assessed our interests when that is the stated legal ground.

13. Changes and contact

We may revise this Policy for product, operational, or legal changes. A new effective date will appear above, and we will give additional notice or request consent when required.
